boneyard creek intervention
The Boneyard creek is a very narrow body of water that makes its way around the township of Champaign, often being subterrainean. The concept involves the activation of a small block around the creek by the creation of a walking path that meanders over the creek, emulating the path that the creek takes over the campus. This path is then flanked by modular shading devices that can be arranged at different heights and even added onto with seating and canvas shading in order to create spaces along the creek that can be used by the community of the area.
